The Pain Is All Too Real

The Pain Is All Too Real

A Poem by David Keagan
"

A little something I've written to show the pure dominance in emotions that someone we love or anybody can have over us.

"

This is how I feel,

The pain is something real.

No longer will you keep me with a chained smile,

You know I've despised you all the while.

Your touch is ice and your lies are fire,

Like simmered embers I feel no desire

Your looks are deceiving and yor trickery is at large

Happiness, joy, and love are emotions that you charge.

For the cost to your devilish charm and demonic soul snatching

Now my spirits gone to your underworld it's latching.

You tell me it won't hurt

As you take me from this Earth

The comatose shocks me as i fall onto your hellish ground,

Now my body lays, no movement, no sound.

I hate you for everything that you've done,

but no wars were lost when the battles were won.

Greatly written, full of emotion. Tells the true story of a life of lies, and upcomming death.

Keep this up, and I'll find you a publisher myself, good sir. Lol. This was great, and very strong and filled with a lot of emotions. You should write more just like this. You did a great job. :-)

Sarah.
