In Between

In Between

A Poem by N.Sevilla
"

To come from two different worlds that cannot be put together.

"

Even here

I am

A little more

Of a little less

Than over there.

And where,

Then,

Will it be less

Than too much

And more

Than too meager?

Translation of poem (how many writer's offer than??): Even here, where I'm supposed to be accepted, I feel more lonely than in the other place where I am also supposed to be accepted. Where will I find a place that can accept both my worlds?

Basically a poem about how I come from two very different worlds that want me to give up the other.

This hits me head on. And you know what's even harder? When choosing is not an option. In my case, I no longer waste even just a minute seeking for acceptance. So long as I have accepted myself for who I am and have forgiven myself of my becoming, the universe will conspire:)
