A Description Of An Anonymous She

She is not a person that you know

She has hazel eyes that always face questioning

They are not brown

They are hazel- brown and green

And you must know this

You must know this well because to see what she has seen you must

See through hazel eyes

She has caramel hair

Likes it down but wears it up because she's got a judgmental world to face

She has caramel hair that is always a darker color because she has ten minutes to shower and leave and she

Has the tendency to rush and waste her mornings inside the pages of a book

She has glasses, but be sure to know that she only has two eyes

She can see how many fingers you are holding up

They're just a little fuzzy

She has 7 pairs of glasses, yes she knows

She wore different ones yesterday

She knows but is surprised that you noticed

And now you notice I have only described three superficial features

Her eyes

Her hair

Her glasses that she wears and already

You know that

This poem really captures how easily impressions are made of people based on their superficial features...and how those who pay attention can pick up so much more about a person just through those very same features. The style and line-arrangement of this poem made it a fun read :)
