Un, Deux, Trois

Un, Deux, Trois

A Poem by Clarisse Nanoit

I'm so sick

I can't eat.

Well, truth is,

I'm fine

until I think about

the fact that you

haven't called today.

It's early,

just past noon,

but my stomach is churning

and twisting,

awaiting my ringtone:

"I'll always keep you inside;

you healed my heart and my life..."

I wonder if maybe

I should just go back to sleep

and try to forget,

which seems to be the only thing

that makes me feel better.

What is my problem?

You're just my friend.

Clarisse Nanoit
Don't judge me too harshly. I know it's not great, but it makes me feel 100 times better.

I like it. =] I think it's great. And it reminds me of one of my poems. Now that wasn't great. =P

here let me paste it here:
Just Call Me Friend

Silence all around,
Except for..

The beating of my heart,
Increasing,
Ringing in my ears,
The heat rushing to my face,
Turning me red.

Ears burning, heart thumping, head throbbing...

Why is it,
When I see him,
He causes my world to stop.
Pulling me to a halt of my uneasiness,
But when he comes closer,
And he speaks;

Ears burning, heart thumping, head throbbing...

Everything returns,
All I manage is,
A crooked smile,
A gaze,
And one whispered word,
When I meant three.

Those three words that will never be said,
In fear of pain,
Rejection,
And loss.

Ears burning, heart thumping, head throbbing...

Yet I know,
Without telling you those three simple words,
I'll never become sane.

Three words,
Left unspoken,
Could change everthing,
But then again,
Doubtless of the amount of times I Could say those words,
You could just leave me behind.

Things being left unsaid,
As again,
You walk towards me.

Ears burning, heart thumping, and head throbbing.

You will never know how I feel about you,
But I will always know how you feel about me,
I'm just that girl,
You call friend.
