What Friends do

What Friends do

A Poem by Cricket Kidd

When the world walks out,

I'll walk in.

When they tell you you'll lose,

I'll tell you you'll win.

When they tell you to stop,

I'll tell you to go.

When they say you're too small,

I'll say that you'll grow.

When they tell you you can't,

I'll tell you to try.

When they weigh you down,

I'll help you to fly.

Whatever they say

To try and hurt you,

I'll always be there,

That's what friends do.

I think you should try submitting this one.

That sounds so much like my best friend! She is my best motivater, and I wouldn't have done half the stuff I've done without her to encourage me along. I loved it!
