Smile

We just all need to forget and move forward :)

I've been through so many battles,

At times I wanted to give up my armor and surrender.

Sometimes life takes us to Elm Street,

And scare us 'till we forget our purpose and quit.

And yes, I proclaim my self once a failure,

But that is not who I am right now.

I stood up once again after eating dirt,

I smiled and laugh at all my mistakes and hardships.

I once forgot about stars and how dreaming was,

But now, I never slept until I wished and sang Twinkle,Twinkle Little Star.

I learned to move forward and to forget.

I learned how to accept and understand the word sorry.

I once was lost and tried to dive so sharks would have a feast,

But I never found myself happy doing that.

At times, we forget what is right and what should be done,

Because our emotions and decisions fool our minds.

I tell you, don't dare frown and roll those eyes,

Try smiling once in a while,'cause people hate quitters.

I tell you after walking a thousand miles of hardships,

I'm still here smiling, because He never stopped smiling at me.
