The first time I saw you, 

The first time I learned to believe in destiny.

Your smile, that hat, your pink bag,

You, you fulfilled all the signs. 

You truly are an answered prayer,

And that sets you apart from the puppy love and my crushes.

It's you and only you that made me drown in desperation,

That I begun to say I love you to you, than the usual hi.

I can turn myself into a man if you want me to.

I can make myself look 21 if you want to.

I will learn to be independent and mature,

Just to be your dream guy, even support that,

Afro hair so that your "reggae dream guy" you'll see.

I love you, I know I'm still young but,

Love is never studied nor experimented.

It's that feeling, it's automatic.

Love is you, that's the way I see love.

Such a wonderful weave of imagery and description. There are great sentiments here. They seep in my brain with great impressions. I found the opening line intriguing but the fourth line for some reason really struck a cord in me. Then I come to the very last line and I was amazed once again by your talent.

I see you're a romantic at heart which is a rare quality I have found in guys nowadays. Most have been shattered enough times to where they have lost the drive to try anymore, but I must insist that you continue with this openness of your heart. There are in fact women out there who love nothing more to have a gift such as this. What a lucky woman it is to inspire such creativity, and often I envy those lucky girls :/ I have no such luck lol!

A word of advice from someone who has been there, don't lose yourself. many mistakes are made in love by the reinvention of oneself to gain the admiration of a love. Don't compromise the wonderfulness that is you for the sake of the one you love. For if it is true love reciprocated, she will love you for you and you alone, not any sort of pretensions-she'll see right through them. People do evolve over time, they mature. But don't reinvent. please? lol
