The Broken Heart!

Deep among the scars I trace,
The outline of your pretty face!
Within my deepest heart I see,
The demons who are tormenting me!

I look upon this frame and curse,
Ten thousand scars from love and worse!
The broken heart openly weeps,
One tattered soul, it's love it seeks!

So many a line in the sand drawn,
Stepped across and in love fallen!
The shattered beads of stolen dreams,
A battered heart broken at the seams!

In between the scars I find,
A memory of you, soft and kind!
Deep within this broken heart,
Locked away, true loves spark!

So once again with broken dreams,
Repairing a heart in love it seems!
Solitude from memories breaking,
Of love and dreams, never speaking!

Deep among the scars I face,
A cold and lonely, loveless place!
Tormented by my demon heart,
Trying to snuff out the true loves sparks!
