Cliffs of Insanity

Cliffs of Insanity

A Poem by Relvester
"

Princess Bride

"
'As you wish'
thats all that it took
like something out of a fantasy book
they call it magic, one in a million
but i call it love and its your heart that i'm winnin
they couldnt understand,
that beauty could love such a lonely farm boy
I couldnt comprehend
so soon enough they tried to take you away Oh NO! no..
They can never take you away
Ill keep on running if you keep on loving me
ill keep on fighting! ill keep in climbing,
the Cliffs of Insanity
I slap on a mask, and say im a pirate
they give you a crown but inside i know you dyin
For you im drinking the poison
fighting giants and slashing through hearts
my blood is boiling
they can try but they can never tear us apart Oh NO! no...
they can never take our hearts away
ill keep on running if you keep on loving me
ill keep on fighting
ill keep on climbing,
the Cliffs of Insanity
You're my Buttercup
i swear ill never ever give up
they can strike me down
but ill rise up like a phoenix from the ashes of our love!
With a fire in my eyes,
I wont rest until they all DIE!
I want you in my arms again
i need you
if this story ends then d****t itll end on our terms
whether we ride off into the sunset or if we die off hand in hand
this is history we're making baby
Ill save you or ill be damned!
As you wish, one last kiss
As you wish.

I like this title. Cliff of insanity brought me to the poem. I like the feel and emotion of the poem.To fight and to defend someone is the best way to show love and care. Complete poem was amazing. A perfect ending to a excellent poem. Thank you.
