Small printsA Poem by A hare offSuch a sad listing the newspapers cried winter months, sorrowed months headlines claim on last page bits small prints read over and over Knees kiss frozen earth near granite reminders dressed in plastic flowers frozen droplets wept diamonds released gemmed moisture seeping below Clouded heavens open beams of warmth flow to a single spot covered in new grass and snow far beneath woolen sweaters where the ground sleeps peacefully
