Life

A Poem by Peter Anil Mathew
"

Thoughts upon life

"
Life,
A staple eaten by everyone
Enjoyed by a few
But it depends upon you
How well you want to enjoy the staple meal
Eaten by many
Loved by a few
It doesn't depend on who you are
Or what you want to be
But how well
Can you make your life to be
It ain't the quality of life
But the company you have in life
That defines whether you live the good life
Or the life worth living
Please don't get me twisted
Or else you would have missed it
That if you have bad company
You should end your life immediately
But I am trying to tell
Be so good in life
That your company
Becomes the life worth living
Not living
But loving
Love life
Live it to the fullest
Short or long
Make it worth the living
