Muse Alluding

Muse Alluding

A Poem by C.L. Wilson

My muse
You shape-shifting tease
Come and go as you may but know
That I will always find you.

Cello solo
Aging painting
Leafless Tree
Tempting Temptress

Rather you be sound, art, nature, or her
You will be translated through my words

despite the shortness of this piece, i think it cleverly described love and attachment for your muse when you say that though she may change forms (by which i assume you meant her emotional state may be fickle) you will still love her. the imagery could have been better developed, but i assume you're trying to focus on her and the not the tree or the cello or the painting, but more of what they symbolize about her, which did put emphasis on her personality. overall, nice write, and keep getting better!

I love how you compared your muse to so many different types of beauty and how you express that through your writing. I love this piece.

Quick and past, like the Dodge city. But like a quick draw I found this a little fast.
