Miscalculation

Miscalculation

A Poem by C.L. Wilson

On a note,

I don't write about love

I speak merely as a prophet

Or maybe more as a calculator

Go to him

Fall for him again

But don't say i didn't warn

Don't say I didn't tell you what would happen

He is man

He want's only passion

Love is rare and I don't see it

I don't see that sparkle in his eyes

Yes I am too

But I have thoughts

I spend days and days pondering

Calculating me, you and the future ahead

I see us

Safe and Secure

Tucked away in our suburban house

The children are at peace as we watch the news

Morning comes

I go to work as you stay

You keep our domain at peace and clean

Laundry, kitchen, dust, vacuum, shop, pay the pool boy

Wait

We dont have a pool boy

You let him in our domain and in our room?

What is in your puny, empty, thoughtless, over bleached head?

You stupid ignorant b***h!

You threw him on our bed and flipped the switch

You satisfy your sexual itch!

On a note,

Forget everything I said.
