Forgive/Forget

Forgive/Forget

A Poem by Matthew
"

Topic I haven't wrote about yet.

"
Slipped in the muddy waters the other day
Her name was euphoria
Fell down the well of trivial disasters the other day
Found a girl, and her name was Marry

This girl had a sad look of pain on her face
Skin sunk into the bone from overuse
Face white as the powder that obstructed her thoughts
Eyes void of all emotion, of all compassion, of all choice
And for her, everyone tries, everyone tries, everyone tried

Cried out to the sky the other day
And her name was Joy
Felt betrayed from my own skin the other
And her name was sorrow

This girl had a face flushed with red emotion
Eyes filled with desires of a tentative kind
And the promise of everlasting connections
Poisoned from a night of fun, choice, and disgrace
And for her, everyone lies, everyone lies, everyone lied

TRY her little message
TRY her self imposed feelings
DIE for the euphoria
DIE for the poison

Now we all lie face down on the floor
Let the joy ride all over your skin
Let the sin mask your soul with it’s sent
Don’t forget to forget

Now let’s all die
Let’s all die
Let’s all die
Because everyone dies
Everyone dies
Everyone dies

Nobody forgives
