.... waiting in shadows...

A Poet’s Page

 

Search the wind for shadows,

perhaps there you will find me

if you so please.

The sky will be a poet’s page

but it is only in the wind

you can find the shadow of me.

Paint me with stars

or with blue,

then place the moon

in a blackened scene

so that my shadow can hide

waiting for you to find me

and etch your name on my page.

I am there, waiting

for you on the wind

by the sea.

A delightful concept....you playing hide and seek with the man on the moon. Words floating in another dimension till they become "real" because someone reads them. To wait on the wind by the sea.....such a lovely thought. To hear the sound of the waves lapping against the shoreline and feel the breeze kissing your face. Ahhhh....very nice, Curt. Lydi**
