Neuropathy

A Poem by reluctantsyren
"

Chronic Pain

"

Jingle jangle
I tingle
Not in a pleasant way
Like fire ants
armed all over my nerve
Endings and persevere

Joan of Ark doesn't have a chance to
See past this mingle
Shingle dance.

It's all in my head the doctors say,
Anyway
Fibers and neurons throwing off
Competing, flaring,
So why can't I throw straight anymore?
Why are my eyes blurry? Why laugh and cry at nothing?

A villain can be a villain and just smile smile smile
