Tortured Soul

this a poem about how i feel sometimes.

inside i am lonely

outside i am lost

i want to stop the torture

no matter what the cost

the feeling of despair

matches with the pain

i need to stop the bleeding

before i go insane

the horror grows inside of me

my pain is its thrill

to be free from this curse

has always been my will

This is an honest, and heartfelt piece. I liked the raw feel to it. Well done.

Hmmm, interesting! This had a nice rhythmic flow to it, and I felt that the emotions that you were trying to convey were constant throughout the whole piece. I really liked the last two lines, and I thought that they ended the poem really well. The only trouble I had with this piece was the font. Maybe it's just me, but I felt like the colour really retracted from the overall theme of the poem. That's only minor though, so don't worry about it too much!
