"

this is a short poem. I wrote when I found out my friend was hospitalized for trying to take his life. I was up all night not sure what to do then i sat down and wrote this.

"

Stop

Stop

put the knife done

Don't give up not yet

I need you

There I said it I need YOU

I can't lose you like I've lost everyone else

I can't let you go not yet not ever

Stay grounded don't give up

Stay for one more minute one more second

I need you maybe that's selfish but it's true

You keep me sane you keep me me

Without you I don't know what i would do

Without you I would be lost

Please stay

Please

I need you

You’re my hope

You're my strength

I want to see you strong like you made me

Don't give up stay for one more minute one more second

I can't lose you not again

Please put the knife down

Step off the ledge

Loosen the rope

Be my hope

I'm trying not to show how much i care but everytime i see you hurt i break

I need to know

Please

Let me know

I can't lose you again

I can't lose you like everyone else

You have a sincere empathy for those suffering around you.this feels like it was written from the heart and I was emotionally moved.

This is raw, powerful and emotional. I'm sorry to hear the 'inspiration' came from such dark experience. I wish your friend well.
