Walls that stand

We see the same things.

We sing the same songs.

We feel the same grief.

Bleed the same blood.

We are never truly alone.

Lost in our own thoughts but always connected.

Always changing but changing together.

Maybe we grow apart.

Maybe we grow together.

I will never stop loving you, not like I did. But I won't stop.

I can't stop.

I can't control it around you.

I look away so you don't see the truth.

I look away so you don't see me as I truly am.

I put up my walls, only you take them down. I try to rebuild but they only fall to the ground.

Just to be close to you, I stop and wait a little longer at my locker hoping to see you just once.

I'm a hopeless wanderer.

A piece of you has stuck to me and I can't take it off, not now, not ever.

I'm not strong enough to say goodbye.

I'm not weak enough to tell you how I feel.

So for now we stay frozen in time.

the last line is so beautiful... :)

I felt connected the moment I started reading.
This is simply put, yet has such depth and meaning.

'Lost in our own thoughts, yet always connected' and that line 'I tried to re-build but they fall to the ground' ... so beautiful and so true.

Personally, I think this is wonderful.
