I like you

I've known you for a while now

And you have been my friend

I have always known I could count on you

You have always been there with a kind word

 

Our paths run different cores  

But we always manage to run across each other

We are very rarely together but when we are it's amazing

We make each other laugh even when life is crazy

 

You have been an amazing friend

You have helped me heal from a broken heart

You make me smile when I only feel like crying

You have inspired me to be a better person

 

And over the course of time all of sudden

Something changed

Something in me changed

I looked at you differently for the first time

 

All of a sudden talking to you makes butterflies appear in my stomach

I giggle when you compliment me

When you text me my heart races

When I think of you a smile crosses my face

 

But something stops me from admitting my new view of you

Something in me says I shouldn't destroy my friendship with you

I have this feeling that if I admit I have a crush that you will turn me away

That you will only see me as your friend and nothing more

 

Am I willing to risk my friendship with you?

Am I willing to have a broken heart?

Am I willing to make things strange between us?

 

These are the questions that prevent me from from allowing myself to like you

These are the things that make me still call you "friend"

 

You are smart

Sweet

Handsome

A strong believer

And caring beyond words

 

Your too good for me

Maybe friendship is the only cores for us

But in case you have any doubt

 

I like you...a lot...

This is sort of just me ranting about this guy I like, I am to afarid to tell him. But maybe i'll give him this poem *shrug* idk let me know what u think
