And So It Begins Again

And So It Begins Again

A Poem by Azmuel

Twelve months three days have passed so far

I have yet to look outside and see a shooting star.

I seek the reason my heart still gives an ache

When I rise a pen to a poem make

Thirty-five months six days, since saw you last

Oh my, what happened to the time that passed?

So deep I buried the ache I now feel

Behind vault doors of tempered steel

Six months two days since last let out

But I drove them back with a fearful shout

Now I can’t write poems, or speak too sly

Without the vault open, which makes me cry

Twelve moths 4 days since last I wrote

Sat still and actually placed words to note

Twelve months 4 days since opened my heart

It has been too long, it is now time to start
