It is a soft moment,
where the light alludes the darkness,
and rainbows dance
upon the pale green carpet
that feels so sweet
to feet
that have frolicked fearlessly through clovers
and spun in circles on the rain-trodden grass.

 

 

For a moment
she had been free.
The wind had ravished
