Unforgiving

Unforgiving

A Poem by Satish Verma
"

Festival of─ earthen lamps.

"
Festival of"
earthen lamps.
Separating the grain from chaff.

Pigeons will"
not be let out to fly.
It is going to be a moonless night.

The skin has peeled off.
Time to move on.
The bared trees.

I feel like I could chew on this for awhile. Excellent imagery. It seemed to end a bit abruptly, but then, perhaps you were going for a fade out image of bared trees. In which case, it works. Cheers!
