Neko Eyes

Neko Eyes

A Poem by saudipanda

To you, graceful moon light within the neko eyes...

As I shed blood with every howl and burn flesh with every scream,
my heart turns to stone.
A stone that beats music in the dark...
Warmth has come to no meaning for me;
as the colder I become the hotter my life seems.
I spawn sorrow where ever I stomp and I anger the moon I've worshiped for so long.

Why is it you, who's blood I can not spill, have stopped to feel my cold?
Why do you desire the howl?
Have you no fear of the fangs that sneer upon your skin?
Tasty as you may seem, my blades do not thirst for the red in your veins...

You dance to music I do not hear...
'It's your heart' you say, but what is a heart?
'It's here' you say and touch the stone. The stone of sorrow...
Music in the cold? Music so old? It's only the beat of the dark.
The rhythm of my sword. What I kill with, you dance to?
Warm... Your hand is warm... I fear your touch yet it is a moment of eternal bliss.

No more blood do I see... No more killing needs to be...
It's in your dance... The graceful moonlight in your eyes.
