A MOTHERS TIDE

Mother you are one of many
your love for me is more then plenty
we have our ups and downs
but in a hard long day we take trips into town
at times you are not the easiest person to talk to
but any person that try's to hurt me
there is no wall u wouldn't walk through
anytime you see my tears fall
we quietly sit and pray for us and all
you are the greatest at what u do
being protective and seeing us through
I someday want to be the women you are
strong no matter the cost
i know you don't see it know
but I will be the women u are in due time
raising my boys into men
keeping then safe and striving to win
see I look up to you even tho you call me negative things
I suppose you take your pain out on me just cause you are in pain
people say I should be use to it by now
when something hurts
it rains it pours
but I'm healing now
no more aching heartbeats or sad frowns.
