-Full Stop-

-Full Stop-

A Poem by .:Arianna:.

I can count the times
i said ''I love you'',
out loud,
on my fingers.

And I don't need that to change.

As long as I mean it,
every time I say it.
as long as I know,
you know it.

It's been a while
since I  wrote something,
anything,
without wanting
to throw it away
afterwards.

I have a secret
I was ashamed to tell...

Inspiration has left me.

She grabbed her suitcase,
told me she'd be out
for a while.
And she did not know
whether she'd be coming back...

It's been her longest absence so far.

And I can't write anymore.
It is as simple as that.
Like I ran out of it.
Again...

The last thing she said
before she closed that door:
''You don't need me anymore''.
But she was wrong.

Now all I write
are slurts on the page.
Words of ink,
not of dream,
not of love,
words
not good enough for you.

So I guess,
this is where
I put my pen down
and stop writing.
This is where I follow
the path of my heroes.
The ones I created
in my stories.

What comes after -full stop- for them?

I suppose,
      I cannot write anymore,
           for I have said everything
i ever wanted to tell you.

And that is why I was writing in the first place.

This is so true.. when our inspiration closes the door it's feels hopeless, and impossible to write. You've penned these feelings very well with this.. I love it..
Sad..yet truthful.. xx
