What Do You See When You Look In The Mirror?

What Do You See When You Look In The Mirror?

A Poem by Interrupting Dawn
"

poem

"

Will you watch as the tears tear away

At the posture of your face?

As they cut down your cheeks;

Now you feel like a disgrace.

In your sudden distress;

Subtly wipe them from your eyes.

When you pretend that everything's okay,

You can see your wicked disguise.

Trying to push out a smile,

Only streches the lips on your mouth.

You well up again,

Watch as they migrate farther south.

Now when you look in the mirrior,

It's obvious you have a faulty expression.

Have you realized your punishment?

Expulsion from heaven.
