Broken Heart

Broken Heart

A Poem by Gray Feathers
"

Hunger and love, primal and mindful, two slipping sides and only one coin. Are they so different?

"
Man rips the feeding hands.
Skin, blood, fingernails
Are
Better than silly food.
We destroy to live.

Which came first?
Am I start
Or finish?

Maybe I wanted pain
(Secretly of course)
But
You ripped into my mind
With such starvation.
