A Poem by Silvia - Scribo, Ergo Sum!

Confusions

Photobucket

Confused
dazzled
stunned
stumbling along a road
paved with the quicksand of shifting realities

Never
sure
of
the next turn
the next bend

Nothing
but
the vision of a destination

Fuelled
but
by
need
desire
hope

Confused
dazzled
stunned
a deer caught in the headlight of a car

Do I
move or
allow myself to be run over

Or

do I

continue stumbling along
this strange road
paved with the quicksand of shifting realities

to

find

YOU?

I got hypnotized by the picture an hour ago . lol This was really cool. "the quicksand of shifting realities", I like that. I can see how shifting realities could pull someone under and drown them exactly like quicksand. I like the visual presentation here. Great my friend.

Hahahaha ... You know, I feel exactly the same about it ... I kinda flowed out of me and I liked it enough to keep it.

At first I was completely distracted by the pulsating image, but once I read on, I could see how it added to the piece. I especially liked how the colors coordinated with the text.

I'll give credit where it's due; it's different, and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Despite my ebbing questions, I like it.
