Same time tomorrow.

Same time tomorrow.

A Poem by Siobahn McKenna
"

insomnia at its ________ (insert adjective).

"

And I guess 5ams are set aside

For me to contemplate before and next;

in context.

With my heart and head.

Apologizing to my common sense
for my traitor heart
and all it said.
Laughing all the same
so I can cope
with my universe kaleidoscope.
To remember so that I can forget
To forget so I can forgive
The complacency of humans
And unrequited faith in timing.
To avoid hope for the wrong thing.
Because such is disaster
whispering
Do not be afraid
of an imperfect ending.

Seeing the sun rise after an unintentional all-nighter is tough......great words to explain insomnia.....
