Perched here tears mine at bay are held
as knight of mine heart's way doth weld
ghosts of time and spirits paired
a crossed path for us is spared

Forged in steel his path won
the sprited soul hath begun
a life fulfilled with woman not
touched soul his hath forgot

forged in the sea his eyes of blue
didst upon me look and coo
yet an instant passed me by
love him there did and will I

Softness his touch my skin ne'er know
a life alone from here I go
glanced a lifetime of pain and woe
alone for him my life will know
