Ink and Skin

Are these words inspired

Or are we all just tired?

Tired of writing

Tired of fighting

For something real

Or has that lost its appeal?

I put down ink

My sword and shield

My words, my link

I need to feel

Need it to be real

To turn this iron into steel

Something burns deep

The warrior awakes

Shaking off his sleep

He Makes the world quake

He puts ink to skin

Burning up the pain

A Road to the fire within

And he let's it reign

Time to stand up and fight

To make a change

To Set the world aflame

So it will never be the same
