Relentless

Relentless

A Poem by SpeedyHobbit Armstrong
"

The speaker, in defiance of dark events from her past, vows to fight back, accept no injustice, and work to make her life have a positive impact on the world.

"
I shall honor this pledge. This I swear.

All promises, may you be heeded,  fulfilled.
May these words be my bond. My deeds.

Resilience, be my middle name! Can't succumb to
Even grief, poverty, homelessness, mental torture, trauma, injustice, evil.
Let nobody EVER say I lost to adversity or fear, for against
Even the most debilitating and demeaning circumstances I WILL fight.
Never giving up. Never settling for less. Tolerating no injustice.
Troubles and threats will NEVER defeat me.
Let nobody ever say my
Existence was pointless for I
Shall NOT give in to fear and pray good
Shall ultimately prevail in the world.

A vow of will power.. How long does it last..
I love the concept you have incorporated into this poem. It is well constructed and there is an interesting idea flowing. A list that at first seems short but takes in a huge net of things that usually let us down.
I like the strength that pushes through the words.

A strong, empowering poem. Almost a prayer or mantra.

You have the endurance and resilience of a weed . You're a survivor . I like your positive outlook in like while others succumbed to self pity and depression you choose to triumph and rise above your circumstances . And I admire you for that ...
