“You F*****g Psycho”

“You F*****g Psycho”

A Poem by Alexandra

On Salem Street
You find the most beautiful cracked sidewalks
They crevice upward into a cliff
I jumped
I need to know where these things come from
Whether it’s here with no one or here with someone else
And it’s all about having some place to have your arms at the end of night
And it’s always been about who wins the fight
But I’m not the kind of person that likes to delight these silly paradigms
Good luck to Sylvia
I hope she remembers me
Good luck to Him
I hope he forgets me
Good to luck Me
I hope I find myself alone one day
Wandering in the sandbar by the stingrays
Hoping my body always floats
I want to jump that cliff
I wish I tripped on that sidewalk
I wish I stayed on Salem Street
Until you came and picked me up
