“I’m Still In Love With My Ex”

“I’m Still In Love With My Ex”

A Poem by Alexandra

My frame no longer sits on your desk
Our pictures don’t hang on the wall
This room has grown to be so hot and stuffy
From all of last night’s events
I wish you wouldn’t look at me like you love me
When I know you don’t

I always end up like this
Being the second option
Being nothing to you
I just want, for the first time in a while:
Just to mean something to someone
