Wish

Wish

A Poem by Steven Fleissner
"

acoustic song

"
I wish for sunshine wines from Northwest vines
Her sweet smile on a Summer night
Turning tires and smiling strangers

I wish for a song in my ear acts with no fear
And you dare get all you want
Crystal clear fresh air to spare

I wish for friendship between disease and cure
Ego's troubles made more pure
Ranger masked snowbird in love for life

I wish for steep canyon's stream flowing in now
The miracle we need wonderin' how
Michael's sword and the prophet's word

Wish I was that rearview mirror in her shiny red car
Sharing that image in sync near and far
Firelight on a starry night

Wish I was the politician's conscience
Stop the damn nonsense
Quit war we don't want more

Wish I was the new tax man
Knockin' on big corps door
World shouldn't end up just rich and poor

I wish love was the rule
We all just listened to the band
Wouldn't that be cool
Peace man

Very nice flow you have here. I wish for some of the same things as well.
