THE BEACON

THE BEACON

A Poem by michael
"

A desperation to be a voice to a deaf world

"

If oh, I could shine

As a light through the heavens

And damper the darkness

Where once there was sight -

If I could but say

What a bird sings so long,

To ease what's been wrought

To a sweeter melody -

If I could openly see

What the world so troublesome hides,

Then I, too, could blindly tell

Of the feelings they guiltlessly hide -
