Feeling Small

It's a brand new day,

but yet, 

things are the same way,

I try my best to ignore,

but how can I?

when it happens more and more,

I wish I could just go to sleep,

and all the things you want to say,

you can keep,

to yourself, so I don't have to hear,

the things I know your going to say,

I take hits from everyone,

sometimes I just want to be done,

tired of it all,

feeling like a little girl,

helpless,

small.

I wake up like this most days, feeling that everything is going to just be the same as yesterday and having to go through it. Like a routine. No one ever said life was going to be easy for any of us, but it's up to us to make the best of it in any way that we can. Some days may beat you down into the ground, deep into the dirt, but all we can do is get up and brush the dirt off. Continue on, push on and wait for the next day. We can't wait around and wait for others to tell us how to live our lives, we have to be our own person, find our own happiness and be who we are, no matter what may happen.
