My heart aches more,
Then it ever has for you,
Questioning this love,
When it comes to me and you,

Bitter and bitter,
The more you become,
More and more hurt,
The more I am numb,

Then my thoughts go to my father,
And I am in awe of his love for me,
I make more mistakes than one can say,
But His forgiveness is all I ever see,

So I will forgive you,
For all your mistakes,
Not hold one wrong against you,
Give my all when you only take,

For Love never fails,
And my love for you never will,
Even when it feels hopeless,
In His peace I will be still,

Knowing the love of God,
Has forever changed me..
For I was once held captive,
But in His truth I am free..
