Eclipse

Eclipse

A Poem by Lee Tran
"

Something really deep and perpetual...

"

eclipse - a cirque de soleil of darkness,
while silence remains golden in the age
of stark contrasts: life is black and white
while the vivid portrayals dance in your eyes,
and you cannot reach out to their

shadow - fraught with perpetual solitude,
a feeling so solemn that the world circles
an endless loop: the end is the beginning
with fate hanging in the balance, whether
you're there or in the

light - fleeing time while a troubadour
relays your life story, frame-by-frame
from beginning to end: life is black and
white with a minute of vivid portrayals
before ending with a total eclipse.
