For My Beloved

Do not cry my sweet one for I am with you
Even though parted by many seas
You are what I carry in my heart and soul
A reason I breathe

Though I am not there to touch you
And feel the warmth of your embrace
Try and feel the love my heart has
It radiates from the beauty of the stars
The moon and the night skies
And the leaves dancing and singing
To an ancient pace

Whilst I'm gone my skin
Will crave the comfort of you
And my lips your slightest touch
Salty tears are sure to fall from my eyes
But I will remember you're still with me in spirit
In truth and trust.

I write this with no method of rhyme and verse
Only to tell you that I love you
My thoughts and heart are with you and are yours
Lovely you are my dearest
But too humble to know it

As a Pegasus takes flight
Soaring amongst the clouds and stars

When you look at them

This entire closing section reminds me of a conversation I had with my wife when we stil lived on opposite sides of the world; having one another's heart, love, fidelity and passion despite our physical separation. To maintain that sort of relationship over time and distance requires a type of courage and commitment very few people possess or are willing to attempt. The fact that you reached out wih an unprotected heart despite the possibility of having it shattered says quite a lot about your character. For someone so 'shy,' you certainly are very passionate about life.
