My Own

My Own

A Poem by Tarry Franck

My hands are tied
My soul bleeds
For a love
That only seems to hide,
I peak around
And seem to find nothing
And am always left with heartache
Forever will I be bound,
Bound to be left alone
In this cruel world
With a gentle heart
Looking for someone I can call my own.

The yearning for love make us dream and hope. I like the want and the need in the poetry. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Thank you so much
Ohhh I too know the sadness and loneliness of looking for love. It only makes things more passionate when you find that special someone.

Thank you Starrleena
This is a common fear that a lot of people have including myself. This was written very well and very open! I liked that and the first four lines are stellar and a very great way to open the poem
