Rush Hour

Rush Hour

A Poem by TAY

A man gets a call at work

Rushes to the phone

Its his brother sayin his wifes water just broke

The man rushes out the door

Jumps in the car

He should've got it fixed cause now the motor wont start

He tries a couple times

And it finally cuts on

And the man starts to smile

As he thinks of his soon to be son

Hes going so fast

It doesnt take long

For him to get to the house but by then they're all gone

So its back out the door

And into the car

Puts the pedal to the floor

Next stop's the ER

He gets to the room

Everyone looks surprised

He looks at his wife and theres tears in her eyes

"look hunny im sorry, i no i was late, but"

she cuts him off "John, our son didnt make it"

Wow... That was amazing .. I love the way you told a story through the poem format. It's really good. Not any poets can do that and that shows me that you are very skilled at writing and I cant wait to read more. :)
