My Love To Write

My Love To Write

A Poem by The Nameless
"

My words may not be what you want to hear, but they are what I want to write.

"

I've kept silent for so long
That I've forgotten how to write a song
A song of sweet and touching words
That will be remembered when heard

But these words of mine are not sweet
They are messy heaps of wet ink
Emotions I have finally let go
And with the wet ink and teardrops they flow

I tried to shut them up inside
To ignore them and go on with my life
Thinking it was not worth to write
For people who seek joy and delight

But now I have realized
That all the words I love to write
Are sadly not for you, but I
My psychology, my passion and my love to write

~ superbly written... we should all be free to write whatever we wish to write about... it doesn't have to be happiness all the time and it doesn't have to be sadness all the time either... we should free to be who we want to be at any given point in time...

I feel the same way... When I first started writing, I felt so free and happy... I never liked poetry until I needed to write some myself. Now it's my life... :D
