The Great Race

The Great Race

A Poem by Tiarra Lynn

I don't know my name,
I can't see my face,
I don't know my place,
In this great,
race.

I can't find myself,
I can't get your help,
I can't hold my grace,
I just run, in the race.

And I don't know my name,
And I can't figure out the rules of this game,
and i cant find my place,
In this great,
race.

But one day I'll find out,
What this race is really about,
and I'll find out my name,
find a way around the rules of the game,
and I'll stray away,
from
this great
race.

I like the idea that life is a race we are all running, and we don't neccessarily know the rules. I also love the idea of escaping once we figure out what the rules are. Lovely poem, thank you!
