Sunshine

Sunshine

A Poem by topsyturvy

Such sweet delicate fragrance
Bliss, such pure unadulterated joy
Coursing through her veins.

Her shattered dreams, once broken
Thought forever's embrace, stolen.
Like a knight coursing through the woods
He stumbles into her clutches.

Thunder and lightning crashing through the night
Little embers of flame, much to their delight,
Dancing in the moonlit sky.

The Phoenix cries out in response
As forever lies into his dying arms.
