Be Alone if You Wish.

Be Alone if You Wish.

A Poem by Tori Adams

Hello to you,

I wave and smile,

as you walk by.

Hello to I,

You wave and smile,

as I walk by.

When I have passed,

though,

you roll your eyes.

And talk to others,

about how you despise,

the way I wave and smile so sweet.

They know you are jealous,

so they simply nod there heads.

as you repeat what you said.

This is why,

unfortunatley,

you will always be alone, unlike me.

So enjoy your time,

In solitude,

as your friends drift away.

For I will still wave and smile,

and greet you with a friendly hello,

as you walk on by, ALONE.
