a place for you here

a place for you here

A Poem by samuel austin

there's a house at the end of a drive

there's a place in the back of my mind,

there was a time,

when it was you i'd find.

you come and go

you were part of me.

you were the artist

i was your days plain sheet.

a stroke here

another over there

you were the voice i tried to hear.

you're perfect in every way,

my faults arent the artists

not his to blame.

and slowly i find,

that you never left this place..

Wonderful. Beautifully done. I love the way you capture that state of being in love in which that person is always a part of you. A memory, a place, a song, a smell. It can take you back so quickly. Great job.
