Edward's gone...

Edward's gone...

A Poem by Poetic Poet

Why are gone?
Why did you leave?
I never thought you’d be
Someone I had to grieve
If only you would talk to me
If only you weren’t ashamed
I could have sent a few more words to you
Before you hit your grave
If you knew what you knew now
Would you still have done what you did?
Would you have started drugs so early?
You were only a kid!
If only I told you, things can progress
You would still be very happy
And not in this sick mess
I’ll miss you forever
And the days that you breathed
I wish I were there for you more
And I didn’t have to leave
I’m happy your pain is gone
I’m glad you’re finally well
I don’t care what the Christians say
You’re definitely not in hell
I just wish you were better
And didn’t smoke pot
I’d have so many more stories
Not just the one about the mascot
You’re the greatest friend
Anyone could ask for
There’s no way at all I could
Love you more
Cancer is a killer
I just wish you killed it first
I don’t want to forget you
Even if my heart still hurts
I’ll think of you everyday
And go on to every night
Sticks and stones may break my bones
But this still hurts me more alright
Rest in peace my joy my love
Until we meet again
Au Revoir r my love
