Appreciation for Trees

Trees are so inspiring to me

pillars of nature,that live and breath.

Have you seen trees in morning light ?

I'am never weary of that charming sight.

Bark and branches light and dark

slant of light to close the night.

No distractions ,just trees in sight.

I live in the boondocks bordering on a huge wilderness along the central coast of California. We don’t have groves of trees, but scattered oaks are one of my favorite things in life. Looking out all my windows, I look thru limbs as I gaze out at the solitude. Trees have helped me heal from a bad neck injury where I had to learn to walk again. I’d be outside trying to walk in extreme pain, then I’d look up at a thick strong majestic oak tree & it seemed to send me strength to continue the fight. This happened day after day & it’s why I insisted on doing my physical therapy at home in nature. Thanks for sharing your similar devotion to trees! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

You could use a bit of revising on this but I appreciate your love for trees. They really bring a feeling of comfort for me when they're glowing from the sun.

Sometimes I don't follow a form correctly, because I don't understand or even know the forms.But i'll keep trying. at 71 i'am forgetting what I learn.
